Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with one hour lunch (or 8:30am-5:00pm with 30 min. lunch - there is flexibility)
  • Location: in office 100% in Fridley, MN
  • Type: temp-to-hire on permanent
  • Pay: $26-$29/hr ($55K-$60K/year) depending on experience level + full benefits

Duties:

  • Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting efforts and help attract top talent across the organization.
  • Play a key role in creating a positive employee experience from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.
  • Assist with HR initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and workplace culture.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, leave requests, and HR-related programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR audits, compliance activities, and policy administration to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to provide administrative and operational HR support.
  • Help improve HR processes, workflows, and documentation to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Generate HR metrics and reports to support workforce planning and management decision-making.
  • Participate in employee training, orientation sessions, and company events to foster a welcoming workplace culture.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of Human Resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of HR experience is required. Recruiting experience is preferred.
  • BA in Human Resources is great but not required.
  • Must have an outgoing personality ready to be "the Champion of Culture" exciting candidates about the job they are interviewing for.
  • Workday experience would be great but can be trained.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
